It's official...we're placed....where???

Mia and I received the news of our placement last night; after our training in Phuket from September 28-October 16th, we will be making our way to the central part of Thailand to the city of Chiayaphum. Yeah, I know you've never heard of it, and neither have we. The good news is that we're arranged to have an apartment with air conditioning, hot water, and even this amazing thing called the Internet. According to some of the other teaching blogs, this is fine living. The not so great news is that it is about 220 miles away from Bangkok, where we were orginally hoping to be placed; however, I think we're both just excited to know we'll be in a "city" and not sleeping in a hut. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaiyaphum_Province
